Front Desk cum Admin.

What are some competencies, traits, experiences and/or qualifications do you look for when hiring a returnee that differentiates them from other candidates? What caught your attention in her resume?

We have been looking for someone who has positive attitude and responsible in this role for quite some time. From her resume, she has 13 years staying power in her previous company.

What was the feedback from the Line Manager after the interview?

Positive feedback as she is experienced to do the job. Having a family to support, the candidate appeared to be hungry to learn and serious about having the job to support and upgrade herself in soft and hard skills.

What advice would you share with women aiming to return to work?

Be courageous and be confident to be back to working life, to be equipped with marketable skill, so that you are independent.

What are some of your career highlights?

Being tasked and sent to Japan to identify a Country Manager in Japan when I do not speak Japanese.

What are some fun facts about yourself?

Helping underprivileged groups, for e.g., providing art/ handicraft work or singing or English tuition to Orang Asli community or/ and marginal Youth at leisure.
