Flexi Hours

Flexibility to adjust their daily working hours as long as the specified set number of hours within a week is fulfilled. Employees can work at any time of the day and need not work a constant set number of hours per day.

Important Considerations
  • Proper policy, system controls and reporting must be in place prior to implementation.

  • Employees & supervisors must have a significant amount of trust to successfully implement a flexi-hours arrangement.

  • A degree of control over this FWA is needed depending on the company’s policies (security system, clock in hours, reporting).

  • All employees making use of the flexi-hours arrangement must understand that this feature will not be abused, and may only be utilised if quality of work delivery is proven.

  • The flexi-hours arrangement should be reviewed at least once per year.

  • Employee and supervisor must agree on a review timeline.
